Gameday: Merrimack vs. Quinnipiac

This afternoon, the Warriors begin their second half of the season with a first-round battle with Quinnipiac at the UConn Holiday Classic in Storrs, Conn. 

A quick game note — Quinnipiac star freshman goaltender Nick Pisellini (6-2-1, 1.38, .948) has taken a leave of absence from the team. Senior Bud Fisher (1-4-0, 4.33, .879) is expected to start for the Bobcats. The other netminder on Quinnipiac’s roster is sophomore Pat McGann, who has not appeared in a game this season but went 2-1-0 last season with 4.72 GAA and an .808 save percentage.
